Cathryn Sanders - Artistic Director

Cathryn was born and raised in San Angelo, TX. She attended Stephens College in Columbia, MO where she obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performance. Cathryn received her Masters of Fine Arts in Performance and Pedagogy from Texas Tech University. She has worked as a professional actress, improvisational player, and standup comedienne across the country, including Los Angeles, CA and Okoboji, IA. She returned to her hometown in 2012 where she served as the Education and Public Relations Associate for the San Angelo Symphony before joining Angelo Civic Theatre.

Elizabeth Holland - Technical Director

Elizabeth was born in Dearborn, Michigan, but moved to Anna, Texas at the age of 10. Working on numerous theatrical productions, she has been an active theatrical artist from a young age. She has enjoyed working in almost every area of theatre; off and on-stage. She attended Grayson College where she obtained her Associates Degree in theatre with honors in 2012. This summer she graduated from Angelo State University with a Bachelor’s degree in technical theatre. She is excited for the opportunity to be working at Angelo Civic Theatre as the Technical Director.

Sara Currie is originally from Castroville, Texas. She joined the ACT staff in July 2013. Sara is pursuing a double major in Mass Media and Communication and a minor in Public Relations at Angelo State University.

Two words that describe Sara: Spontaneous & drop-dead hilarious…ha-ha
Hobbies: Playing with my dog - Oliver, Photography and video production, people watching, racing ATV’s, and traveling

Other involvement in the community: Picking up stray animals off the street and finding owners or a home for them.

Fun Fact: Performed at Carnegie Hall when I was 16 years old.

Katt Jenkins was born and raised in San Angelo and considers Angelo Civic Theatre a home away from home. She joined the ACT team in July 2013. Katt has been involved with theatre all of her life, stage managing and back stage managing productions for ACT, Be Theatre and SABA. Her recent onstage roles include Ruth in Blithe Spirit and Lenora in Dashing Through the Snow. Katt plans on attending ASU in the fall to pursue a degree in Theatre.

Hobbies: Acting, fashion, reading, traveling, ghost hunting
